Let's Work together!

Picture this: You're practicing for your favorite event of the year and your horse is just feeling "off." You know something isn't quite right but you just can't quite put your finger on it. That's where I come in! I help bring your horse back to balance and relieve their sore points. Enjoy the best parts of competition without wondering if your horse is ready to go. Let's get your horse feeling great so you can both perform with confidence.

As horse people, we are always looking for ways to help our horses be the best they can be. The main purpose of osteopathy is to restore balance to your horse. It's my job to find where your horse is out of balance, and help them regain flexibility, range of motion, and mobility in their joints.

Why

  • Restore balance & release tension so your horse stays fluid throughout their whole performance & so they can actually do what you are asking them to!
  • Increase mobility and function

  • Horse History: I want to know how they are on a typical day, if they slipped in the box 6 months ago, and what they had for breakfast.

  • Evaluation: I'll watch your horse walk, trot, and maybe lope. If they only have the issue under saddle, I want to see you ride so I can get the full picture. Then, I'll palpate your horse to see what is going on with them underneath the skin.

  • Treatment: This is where I will target treatment to your individual horse. With a mix of massage, joint movements, and more, I'll help relieve the sore spots and release the tension so your horse is ready to go.

  • Follow up: Depending on your treatment needs, I will give you some homework to help your horse, and come back when I need to!
